The purpose of the Master's program in Acupuncture is to train practitioners of Acupuncture so they can function as exemplary independent health care providers. The MSAc program focuses on Acupuncture and related physical skills modalities of Oriental Medicine to achieve health and well-being.
The NCCAOM was established by the profession to promote nationally recognized standards in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and to ensure public safety. NCCAOM certification represents professional recognition. It does not authorize or license an individual to practice Acupuncture or Chinese Herbal Medicine. Licensure and registration are state regulatory functions.

PCU College's Acupuncture program is a condensed version of four-year acupuncture programs offered at TCM universities in China. The unique program trains students in the ancient art of acupuncture and gives them a solid foundation in the principles of traditional Chinese medicine.
Along with TCM subjects, such as TCM philosophy, meridians and acupoints, students learn about physiology, anatomy, microbiology, and Western medical diagnosis.
Acupuncture is a comprehensive system of healthcare which is based on classical theories of energetic physiology. The practice of acupuncture involves the therapeutic use of filiform needles and ancillary therapies consistent with Traditional Oriental Medicine diagnostics and therapeutics, including but not limited to, moxibustion, tuina, and Qi Gong.
The Acupuncture Studies program leads to a Master of Acupuncture (M. Ac.) degree. The purpose of the Acupuncture Studies program is to prepare professional acupuncture healthcare practitioners who are trained in a broader approach to healing that includes an understanding of mindfulness for both the practitioner and the patient, and that allows the practitioner to focus on the whole-person: body, mind, and spirit. The program incorporates the best of several acupuncture modalities such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element, Traditional Korean Medicine, etc. to better serve the patient.
The AMC Oriental Medicine school program is four academic years in length, designed to be completed in 36 months. The curriculum meets all requirements established by the State of Florida and the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
